Q.

Hello I was hoping you can help me. When my filter is on the the little injet coming back into the pool makes quite a number of ‘sucking’ noises during the filtration time. Is there a rough estimate of how many times it should make that noise. My neighbours say it is a bit annoying at times. If it’s quite normal then we will all have to live with it but if there is something I am not doing then I will. I keep the water level up  and haven’t got the vacuum cleaner on. In fact when I have the vacuum cleaner on it does it less.

Any ideas??
A.  I will assume this is an above ground pool and not an in ground pool.

The sound is the  above ground pool suction line pulling in air and water instead of steady feed of water only into the pool filtration system. This would also put air in your filter tank, bleed the air out of the tank and raise the water level above the suction line in the above ground pool. This is one suggestion based on your e mail message.

The Salt water Generator uses a titanium type plate to covert the salt to a chlorine sanitizer.. The salt requires replacement of the lost salt when evaporated. The Copper Ion unit uses diodes in the return line of the filter as water passes over the diodes it is sanitized. This unit synergizes and activates with the small presence of chlorine in the water. A trace amount of .01. normal chlorine is 1.4 part per million.

Q. How much weight do standard Above Ground Pool ladders hold
